Please join us for this 30-minute Coffee Break QI webinarette on March 23rd. These webinarettes are designed for EHDI Programs to be able to share with their peers an improvement strategy or product they have developed. Not all topics covered include QI, but are all focused on EHDI system improvement. During this webinar you will hear from Tammy O’Hollearn from Iowa who will share an improvement project that involved training educational audiologists to perform unsedated ABRs in areas of their state with no pediatric audiologists in an effort to help babies reach the 3-month diagnosis benchmark and ease the burden of travel on families. Participants will:
- be able to identify one successful strategy using regional educational audiologists to improve timely diagnosis,
- learn what type of training and support is needed to setup a successful partnership between an EHDI program and regional educational audiologists, and
- learn the benefits of collaborating with regional educational audiologists to improve timely diagnosis.
