Upcoming Webinar: Measuring the Impact of Family-to-Family Support: Tools and Lessons Learned from a Learning Community
When: November 10, 2022 | 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. MDT
Description
Family-to-Family Support is important and continues to have a strong emphasis within the EHDI Community. You know that you are doing family-to-family support but do you know how to measure the impact of your work? Looking to go beyond satisfaction surveys, the National Center for Hearing Assessment and Management (NCHAM) and the Family Leadership in Language and Learning Center (FL3) recently conducted a Learning Community (LC) on the Impact of Family Support and Engagement (IFSE).
The goal of the LC was to determine the most important domains (e.g., child/family well-being, knowledge, empowerment) of family-to-family support and how to measure those domains through a survey. A survey was created, piloted and tested with six LC members within their states.
Join this webinar to learn the LC process, see the survey template, and discover lessons learned and how you can incorporate this evaluation template in your own program. The survey itself will be a resource you can make your own and determine outcomes – and ways to improve family-to-family support services – within your own program.
Learning Objectives
- Participants will be able to list important domains of family-to-family support.
- Participants will be able to describe the survey questions and incorporate them into their own programs.
- Participants will be able identify optional questions to be added to the survey for their program.
