DMFS focuses on these areas, early language acquisition through early visual communication while acquiring ASL, Deaf culture, community, connecting resources, and sharing their experiences as a person who is deaf or hard of hearing. Deaf Mentors also share valuable insight about the social emotional development of children who are deaf or hard of hearing.
